The 2023 Sierra offers four impressive powertrain options for all your toughest jobs and biggest adventures.

• Get 310 horsepower, 430 lb-ft of torque, and 9,400 pounds of max towing from the standard 2.7-liter turbo high-output engine.
• The 5.3-liter V8 delivers 355 horsepower, 383 lb-ft, and up to 11,200 pounds of towing capacity.
• The 6.2-liter V8 provides 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft to go with a 13,000-pound towing max.
• With 13,200 pounds of max towing, 305 horsepower, and 495 lb-ft, the 3.0-liter Duramax® turbo-diesel V6 is a real beast.

The Sierra can also haul a massive payload, with most configurations capable of carrying between 1,600 and 2,200 pounds. For extra traction on and off the road, all trims feature standard or available 4WD.

Cargo box and utility features

The 2023 Sierra is ready to get to work, starting with its high-strength steel cargo box. Available in short, standard, and long sizes, the Sierra’s bed boasts the most cargo bed volume in its class.¹ Most trims offer the innovative six-function MultiPro Tailgate, which can transform into a load stop, a bed step, a work surface, and more.
