Fresh design
The 2024 GMC Acadia is longer, taller, and wider than the 2023 model — and with this expanded size comes a bolder, tougher exterior look that incorporates 18-inch or 20-inch aluminum wheels, a redesigned grille and front fascia, and LED lamps in front and back. The AT4 trim incorporates red tow hooks, skid plates, and a 1-inch lift, along with interior chrome-metallic trim and an available Forest Storm color scheme with Mahogany stitching. The Denali trim showcases available 22-inch wheels, a signature grille, and perforated leather seats with laser-etched wood and Galvano chrome accents.
Expanded space
As you might expect with the 2024 Acadia’s larger exterior size, it’s now much roomier on the inside! The front row boasts class-leading legroom for a more comfortable drive. Seating for eight now comes standard, with a seven-seat option available as well. Cargo space behind the third row has grown by 80%, which comes out to about 23 cubic feet. Maximum cargo space is up 24%, totaling about 97 cubic feet.
Premium features

The Acadia is offered at four trim levels: SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali.
Powertrains and performance
There are two engine options available on the GMC Acadia. The SLE and SLT models come standard with 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. There is also an available 3.6-liter V6 that comes standard on the AT4 and Denali trims. This engine delivers an impressive 310 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Standard on all trim level is a Traction Select System. Depending on the model you have, there will be up to five modes to choose from. This can help improve the Acadia’s performance based on the driving conditions.
For the best performance in tough conditions, choose the AT4 model. This trim comes standard with an advanced Active Torque Control AWD system that sends more power to the rear wheels, when needed, to help keep you on your intended path.
Interior features
The Acadia boasts a comfortable, refined interior with plenty of storage and technology options. It has seating for six or seven passengers across three rows. Choose between a bench seat or two captain’s chairs in the second row. The second-row seats are Smart Slide seats that make it easier to access the third row. The passenger side seat can slide and tip forward, even with an empty child seat in place.
Behind the third row, the Acadia has 12.8 cubic feet of cargo space. With the second and third rows folded, this expands to 79 cubic feet. There are also numerous storage compartments throughout the cabin to store smaller items.
You can give your Acadia a luxurious feel with available options like heated and ventilated, leather-appointed front seats. There is also an available Dual Skyscape sunroof with one panel over the front seats and another above the second row. This is available on all trim levels.
Technology
The Acadia comes standard with an 8-inch central touch-screen display. This includes the latest GMC Infotainment system along with wireless compatibility for both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. There are five standard USB ports throughout the cabin to help keep everyone’s devices charged.
The SLT trim add built-in navigation, HD radio, and an eight-speaker Bose® audio system. With the range-topping Denali model, you also get a wireless charging pad, a customizable digital instrument panel, and a 6-inch Head-Up Display. This displays crucial vehicle information directly on the windshield including information on your speed, navigation directions, cruise control settings, fuel level, and safety warnings.
